Preserving the writings of the Particular Baptists.
The Particular Baptists Library is a project of the International Reformed Baptist Seminary (IRBS),
dedicated to making the writings of 17th and 18th-century Particular Baptist ministers and theologians
accessible to students, pastors, and researchers.
What you will find here
Sermons, confessions, treatises, and histories from the foundational generation of Particular Baptist
life in Britain and America — works by figures such as Benjamin Keach, Hanserd Knollys, William Kiffin,
John Gill, Andrew Fuller, and many others.
Search and browse
The library is built around full-text search. Type any word, phrase, or author name to find relevant
passages across the entire collection. You can also browse alphabetically by author to explore the
writings of a particular figure.
Reading editions
Where text has been extracted from the historical sources, it is presented in a clean, proportioned
reading layout optimised for phones and tablets — free from the scanning artefacts of the original
facsimiles.
About IRBS
The International Reformed Baptist Seminary (IRBS) is an independent confessional seminary based in
Mansfield, Texas, preparing men for pastoral ministry in the Reformed Baptist tradition. IRBS subscribes
to the Second London Baptist Confession of 1689. This library is part of IRBS's commitment to recovering
and preserving the Particular Baptist heritage.
